CNC Operator - Rolling/ turning machine
Is metal design and machining your forte? Then we may have just the job you're looking for. Our client is looking for a sheet metal worker/metal rolling machine operator for their metalworking department. Knowledge of welding is an advantage, but not required. We are most interested in previous experience with rolling machines and in metalworking departments plus your enthusiasm and openness to learn. We want you to be able to "feel" the material you are working with.

- Reading, interpreting and implementing rolling orders, drawings, assembly parts according to shop instructions- Setting up, adjusting, operating and checking rolling machines (CNC)
- Reading and converting technical drawings into rolled sheet, tube and profile steel and stainless steel products
- Reporting faults and/or problems directly to supervisor
- Carrying out work in accordance with instructions given
- Evaluating and recording the quality of own work
- Reading and interpreting production orders, drawings and parts to be assembled according to given instructions and welding schedule, if applicable
- Evaluating materials and filler metals to be processed
- Metal processing: alignment, brushing, grinding, etc.

- Ability to read technical drawings and turn them into products (mandatory requirement)- Knowledge of rolling and machining of steel and stainless steel products (advantageous, at least minimal knowledge, but not required)
- Production knowledge of welded constructions and welding processes
- Minimum knowledge of German and possibly also Dutch
